If you are looking for things to do, the Kingsburg Sun-Maid Raisin Store is located only 10 minutes from our Farm Stay. Learn how raisins are grown, harvested, and packaged. Purchase farm-themed souvenirs and raisin-filled confections at the nearby store.
Near Hwy 99 and a short drive away is a great farm-themed, family friendly attraction. Bravo Farms specializes in cheese and wine sales along with novelty decor items. There is a restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining, an ice-cream parlor, and a tree house for the kids. You may feed the animals and play miniature golf as well.
The Rosa Brothers Dairy is located in Hanford, CA about 30 minutes from us. Their tour is $8.00 per person. Small groups and families may schedule tours on Saturdays. The tour includes milking a simulated cow and petting baby calves.
Only an hour's drive away are the entrances to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. The famous giant redwoods are a must see. Enjoy fishing, hiking, cave tours, and site seeing. The January 2023 rain and snow storms have damaged the road to Sequoia National Park via the South Entrance. The North Entrance is open and there are plenty of Giant Sequoia trees in the Grant Grove area.
A must see while you're in the area. Only 30 minutes away in Fresno, CA, this unique attraction was built between 1906 and 1946 and includes an underground residence, tunnels, and gardens.
